The National Archives of India (NAI) is the premier repository for non-current records of the Government of India, serving as an attached office under the Ministry of Culture. Established in 1891 in Kolkata as the Imperial Record Department, it moved to its permanent heritage building in New Delhi in 1926.

The platform features a tool called Backpack, which enables faculty to share study materials, such as PowerPoint presentations and notes, with students. The MSRIT Classroom Impartus Lecture Capturing System is available from 2000 to 2025.
